Prerequisite

  • 2 NIC Card
    • 1st NIC Card for Communication
    • 2nd NIC Card for receiving VoIP traffic from Port Mirroring
  • Network Switch with Port Mirroring enabled. *Subject to Network Switch model
  • VRM VoIP License



Description

  1. Recording software for VoIP recording will be installed in the VRM server.
  2. At least 2 NIC card are required. 1st NIC card for server communication purpose, 2nd NIC card for receiving network traffic via port mirroring.
  3. Port mirroring need to be enabled to duplicate the call traffic into VRM. *Subject to Network Switch model
  4. Supported IP Protocol: SIP, Alcatel AOC, Avaya H.323, Cisco Skinny & many more.
  5. Recording will be triggered based on the SIP event, or related event from different protocols. If there is related event provided for VRM, recording can only be triggered based on RTP (Voice).
  6. Call information will be captured and stored in database.
  7. Call can be retrieved & playback via Web Portal.
